Hiking trip – Okoř ruins & nature near Prague

Join us on Saturday 22. 3. 2014 to find one of the most famous ruins in Czechia. Okoř is well knonw from the czech song of the same name. The hiking trip will lead us to landscape near Prague, but still kind of secreat place for most turists. Few kilometres further is located allegedly the oldest standing building in Czechia — part of the church of St. Peter and Paul (in the picture).

Practical info:

This is hiking trip. In nature. That means we will walk around 15 km on path of different surfaces. So good shoes is main condition for a trip!

When?

At 8:30 in the morning of Saturday, 22nd of March. BE ON TIME!!! Otherwise you miss the connection and there is no alternative way that day. We should be back in Prague before 18:00 — but it depends, because connections go quite often, so we can choose what time to go back.

Where?

The bus is going from Dejvická, ie. the end stop of metro line A. The exact meeting point will be announced later.

How much does it cost?

The transportation (both way there and back) should cost less than 100 Kč. It is the only cost, which is mandatory. We might meet some village shop/bistro along the way, but it is NOT SURE.

What to take?

  • good shoes (remember?;-)
  • good clothes (waterproof jacket — it might rain any time year round in Czechia)
  • drinks and food for yourself — for whole day (we might not meet any open shop/bistro for whole day – remember?;-)
  • good mood & good weather (we would appreciate both;-)

How to get in??

  • sign up right here. Fill in form below (and press submit button). That’s all;-)

In case you can’t see any form, then the trip is full. We are sorry, but there will be more trips like this one. Folow us here and on Facebook
